4. Quotations & Contracts

A. Quotations

All quotations are provided free of charge and are valid for a period of 30 days. After this period, prices may be subject to change. Any changes in the scope of work may result in adjustments to the quoted price.

B. Contracts

A written contract detailing the agreed-upon services, pricing, timelines, and any other terms will be provided. The contract must be signed and returned before any work commences. By signing the contract, you agree to the scope, terms, and payment schedule outlined.


5. Payment Terms

  • Deposits: A non-refundable deposit may be required before starting any work.
  • Payment Schedule: Payment terms will be defined in the contract and may include milestone payments.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon satisfactory completion of the agreed services. We accept payments via direct debit (processed by GoCardless), bank transfer, or other agreed methods.

Late Payments: Failure to make payments within the agreed terms may result in additional charges and/or suspension of services. Interest on overdue payments may be charged at 8% above the Bank of England base rate.


6. Service Delivery & Timelines

We aim to complete all services within the agreed timelines as detailed in your contract. However, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, material shortages). In such cases, we will notify you promptly and discuss adjustments to the schedule.


7. Customer Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide access to the property for our team to carry out the services.
  • Ensure that any required permissions, consents, or licenses for the work have been obtained before the commencement of services.
  • Promptly communicate any concerns or changes in requirements during the term of the work.

Failure to meet these obligations may lead to delays or additional charges.


8. Warranties & Guarantees

We offer warranties on specific services, which will be detailed in your contract. Any issues with the workmanship or materials used should be reported within the warranty period for corrective action.

Note: Warranties do not cover general wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by third parties after completion of our services.


9. Liability & Insurance

A. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of use, profits, or business opportunities.
  • Indirect or consequential damages.
  • Damage caused by your failure to follow our instructions or misuse of services.

B. Insurance

We hold comprehensive public liability insurance to cover any potential damage or injury caused by our services.


10. Termination & Cancellation

A. Cancellation by You

You may cancel the contract before the commencement of services with written notice. However, any deposits paid are non-refundable. If cancellation occurs after services have begun, you may be liable for work completed to date.

B. Termination by Us

We reserve the right to terminate the contract if:

  • You breach any of these Terms.
  • You fail to make payments within the agreed terms.
  • Access to the property is unreasonably denied or conditions are unsafe for our team.

11. Complaints & Disputes

If you have any concerns or complaints regarding our services, please contact us at accounts@trustedmaintenance.repair. We aim to resolve disputes amicably and efficiently. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be settled under UK law.


12. Privacy & Data Protection
